Job Summary

The Service Delivery Evaluator is responsible for providing Operator Qualification training and performance evaluations of covered tasks for EGW's field services personnel and EGW clients.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • The primary area of responsibility for the Service Delivery Evaluator is to provide training and Operator Qualification and performance evaluations to the EGW workforce.
  • Additionally, the primary area of responsibility, is to provide training and Operator Qualification and performance evaluations to the EGW's clients.
  • This position will be the QA/QC check point for Employees and Evaluators.
  • This position will assist with the design and construction of simulation stations and tasks to be used for OQ work in various areas.
  • Service Delivery Evaluator will have the skills and ability to grow in the role as a lead or point person to schedule work for client requests, coordinating and managing evaluator resources etc.
  • This position will be responsible for building relationships within the natural gas services community.
  • Works with the Field Services Manager and the Service Delivery Administrator to manage the implementation and coordination of EGW's personnel training and evaluation services operations, and any action plans which promote growth in the Service Delivery department.
  • Assists in the development and execution of EGW's strategy and plans for Compliance, Training, and Field Services.
  • This position requires travel time of 30-50%.

Preferred Experience

  • EGW is searching for candidates with knowledge and experience in the pipeline industry who have Natural Gas Operations experience to become Compliance Trainers/Evaluators. Successful candidates will assist EGW in providing our client's employees with training, proctoring, and performance evaluations to assure the requirements of their Operator Qualification (OQ) Programs are met. Additionally, candidates who are qualified to provide training and certification in various Polyethylene (PE) fusion and joining and/or steel welding procedures is a plus. Bilingual candidates are needed as well.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in the Natural Gas Industry and have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide Training, Proctoring and Evaluation of skills for OQ and/or Fusion certifications for EGW clients.
  • Hours and days will vary based on EGW client needs, however, EGW partners with our Compliance Evaluators to meet their schedules, if possible. Work will be full-time.
  • Some travel and overnight may be necessary. All travelling expenses are covered by EGW.
  • EGW will cover the costs associated with the candidate gaining the necessary training/evaluation and certifications which may be required.
  • A high level of personal integrity is required. The candidate must also be focused on the safety and integrity of the compliance process.
    EGW will pay for and schedule the following training and certifications for Evaluators as appropriate:
  • Energy Worldnet (EWN) - Master Evaluator Certificate
  • Industrial Training Services (ITS) -Train-the-Trainer
  • M.T.Deason/ISCO -Electrofusion Certification
  • McElroy Heat Fusion certification for Manual Sidewall, Butt Fusion, and Medium Diameter Hydraulic Butt Fusion with Datalogger
  • Georg Fischer Fusion Certification
  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of OQ and Training experience
  • Proven ability to develop long term relationships with industry peers
  • Excellent listening, presentation, training skills
  • Experienced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable mode of transportation- ability to work the hours of operation for this role
