Position: SOC Analyst Location: Onsite - Farmington, Connecticut Shift: 4-day, 10-hour per day schedule We are a dynamic cybersecurity organization with a strong presence across multiple locations domestically and internationally. Our team is dedicated to providing 24/7 coverage through a hybrid model, ensuring robust cyber defense, detection, and response capabilities. Role Overview: As a SOC Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, handling the majority of tickets from start to finish. You will work closely with high level analysts and other teams to ensure thorough analysis and effective incident response. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and analyze security events using SIEMs (Splunk, QRadar) and EDRs (Tanium, CrowdStrike). * Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents. * Escalate complex issues to high level analysts while remaining engaged in the escalation process. * Conduct light forensics and malware analysis. * Collaborate with the broader cyber defense team to ensure comprehensive coverage and response. * Adhere to SLAs and OLAs for critical and high urgency tickets. * Maintain detailed documentation and reporting of security incidents. *Skills* Soc, Security, Siem *Top Skills Details* Soc, Security, Siem *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Qualifications: * Experience with SIEMs (Splunk, QRadar) and EDRs (Tanium, CrowdStrike). * Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and the kill chain. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, with on-site presence required for three days and remote work for one day. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
