Job Description

The Ecosystem Program Transformation and Automation organization focuses on the design, development, and delivery of training and process improvement to employee tools that elevate the client/user experience, making engagement simple, thoughtful and straight forward. The Risk and Compliance Analyst will be responsible for documenting department process and procedures while utilizing Visa's risk framework tools and definitions for reviews and assessments. Providing recommendations for improvements and establishing quality metrics.

Candidate should expect to collaborate with all levels business leaders and subject matter experts across The Payment Ecosystem Risk and Control (PERC) Team.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and build metrics for Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), reports and dashboards to monitor performance.
  • Understanding process, procedures for full risk identification.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of the business, provide data-driven insights, and develop business requirements
  • Effectively coordinate the efforts of a project team with a high degree of autonomy and ensure the program is completed as intended
  • Drive operational efficiency through utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and VISIO to make presentations and deliver solutions to the multi-faceted PERC team
  • The ability to be viewed as a strong trusted business partner representing the voice of problem solving and organizational change management.
  • Strong business presence including presentation skills, project coordination, and ability to lead meetings, while working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Analyze trends, patterns from large or ad hoc data sets and build rules and strategies to improve efficiency in the fraud detection process.
  • Secondary point of contact for all client and operations audits, both internal and external.
  • Proactively institutes reviews of current processes, systems and environment controls to identify areas that are non-compliant.
  • If audit issues are identified, partner with the management team on closure of Management Action Plan (MAP) items.
  • Flexibility to support ongoing efforts and projects / programs (VRSA / Training establishment)

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Strong quantitative analytical experience, including statistical analysis and database structure.
  • Risk Framework creation / experience a plus
  • Change Management training / experience a plus (PROCI)
  • Understanding of Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) process and documentation will support success
  • Ability to assess data, interpret ambiguous situations, and make decisions under pressure.
  • Understanding of mitigating online fraud, such as account takeover, phishing, online card testing, etc.
  • Risk Management experience with traditional and alternative payment methods
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on a course of action
  • Experience in risk review and assessment of cross-functional roles / activities within an organization including vendor work.
  • Knowledge of mobile and multi-channel commerce solutions is a plus.
  • Creative, team-focused problem-solving skills with drive for deadline completion
  • Flexibility with schedule as job requires
  • Expert level MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, Access, VISIO)
  • Travel maybe required, but very limited
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 87,200.00 to 123,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
