*Description*
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Management Technician for a role in Addison, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and tracking work orders, as well as excellent communication skills to work directly with hardware providers. Key Responsibilities: * Work Order Management: Efficiently manage and track work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring timely updates and resolution. * Hardware Order Tracking: Oversee the entire lifecycle of hardware orders, from procurement to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Vendor Coordination: Collaborate closely with hardware vendors to manage invoices, shipping, and receiving of equipment. * Asset Management: Utilize asset management tools, with a preference for experience in ServiceNow, to maintain accurate records of all assets. * Warehouse Operations: Leverage experience in a warehouse environment to manage inventory and ensure proper handling and storage of equipment. * User Coordination: Proactively engage with end users to facilitate equipment returns and address any issues related to asset management. * Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, team members, and end users. Required Skills and Experience: * Hardware Management: Proven experience in managing hardware assets, including tracking and inventory management. * Asset Inventory: Strong background in asset inventory management, with the ability to handle large volumes of assets. * ServiceNow Experience: Familiarity with managing assets within ServiceNow or similar asset management platforms. * Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with a focus on asset management. * Vendor Management: Ability to manage relationships with hardware vendors, including handling invoices and coordinating shipments. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: * Asset Management Tools: Experience with asset management tools and software, particularly ServiceNow. * Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently, with a strong attention to detail. * Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve asset management issues. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
