*Brief Summary*
This Clients Fixed Income Securities Operations group is looking for a Settlements Analyst to support an initiative on a 12-month contract with likelihood of extension or the possibility of converting into a permanent role. This is a hybrid position located in Chicago, IL. They need a strong Settlements Analyst to support a list of High Priority Clients within the Federal System (NSS), which requires urgent attention to detail. *Responsibilities* * Responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions, typically related to securities, trades, or loans * Analyze data, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate settlement of financial obligations * Identify and resolve issues, provide analytical input, and make process improvement recommendations * Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including front office teams, clients, brokers, and clearing houses, to ensure smooth and efficient settlement processes *Qualifications* MUST HAVES * 1+ years in Settlements (specifically Fixed Income) * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Analytical mindset and ability to work with data in Excel * BONY BDC - Broker Dealer Clearing system is strongly preferred NICE TO HAVES * CDS, DTCC, Clearstream, or other depository systems * Broadridge Impact back-office book of record * Experience in Fed system Settlements (NSS) dealing with High Priority Clients * Macros *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
