Sr Engineer - Measurement

Summary:

Provide technical expertise for the Energy Transfer Measurement Function.

Responsibilities:



  • Develops, designs, and performs various measurement engineering duties and responsibilities.
  • Prepares specifications and procures materials and equipment for a timely and efficient execution of projects.
  • Provides technical engineering support
  • Performs cost tracking and status reporting for assigned projects.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously within a managed budget and execution schedule.
  • Follows all safety rules and guidelines as established by the Measurement Department.
  • Designs, specifies, and procures materials and equipment for projects.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.



Requirements:



  • BS in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering degree
  • 5+ years experience in engineering and project management required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of taking initiative and making decisions is required
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy
  • In-depth knowledge of linear programming, terminal/pipeline processing, and terminal/pipeline optimization economics required
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as possess the capability to work efficiently in a team environment required
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
