Summary: Provide technical expertise for the Energy Transfer Measurement Function. Responsibilities: Develops, designs, and performs various measurement engineering duties and responsibilities. Prepares specifications and procures materials and equipment for a timely and efficient execution of projects. Provides technical engineering support Performs cost tracking and status reporting for assigned projects. Manages multiple projects simultaneously within a managed budget and execution schedule. Follows all safety rules and guidelines as established by the Measurement Department. Designs, specifies, and procures materials and equipment for projects. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability. Requirements: BS in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering degree 5+ years experience in engineering and project management required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent PC skills Strong interpersonal skills and capable of taking initiative and making decisions is required Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy In-depth knowledge of linear programming, terminal/pipeline processing, and terminal/pipeline optimization economics required Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as possess the capability to work efficiently in a team environment required Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
