Position Summary

In partnership with Regional Presidents, the Treasury Management Director is responsible for supporting treasury management sales activities across the enterprise to align with corporate objectives. This position will strategically leverage treasury management products and services, coordinate treasury management functions between the market sales teams and internal resources - primarily the treasury management support team and provide the highest level of customer experience to our clients/prospects. Duties & Responsibilities
  • The ability to align Busey's regional service model - partnering with Market Presidents, the Director will actively research and strategize to integrate cutting edge training and foster the development of new techniques to help lead the Treasury Management Executives and Treasury Management Portfolio Managers to increase collected fee income, grow core deposits, make referrals to other lines of business, retain customers, and aid Busey in achieving its financial goals.
  • Evaluate existing treasury management products and services for the Bank; maintain an awareness of marketplace trends in products, services, pricing, and technology deployment as well as changing customer requirements.
  • Optimize the use of technology-supported solutions by working collaboratively with FirsTech, external vendors, and related resources when applicable to assist in client service and product development.

  • The skill to leverage research and lead the determination of pricing for treasury management products and services in conjunction with the Chief Banking Officers, Commercial Banking and Finance.
  • Using data analytics, this position will lead, develop and manage activity, pipeline, pricing and profitability reports for Treasury Management and Market leadership.
  • The platform to provide appropriate resources within the department; ensure products and services are in place to meets the needs of our treasury management customers and prospective customers.
  • Overall thoughtful management of treasury management product and communication compliance.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • File transfer technology and banking software
  • Wire, ACH systems, and lockbox processing
  • Advanced computer technology

Ability to: Multi-task and work independently

  • Take more than normal care to prevent loss to the organization
  • Perform duties under frequent time pressures
  • Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretion

Education and Training:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business.
  • Requires 10 or more years of combined banking experience in sales, treasury management, and commercial banking.
  • Requires 8 or more years' experience in cash management or payment technology sales with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing quota.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $155,000 - $190,000 annually)
