ATI is seeking to hire two Additive Manufacturing Interns for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. This position will be based in Margate, Florida and will run from June to August 2025.

As an intern at ATI, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams that do truly exceptional things. The projects and skills outlined below will be guided and directed by an established ATI-Professional in your field of interest.

What You'll Do

The Additive Manufacturing interns will support 3D metal printing and related technologies. Responsibilities include:



  • Setting up and running additive manufacturing builds.
  • Assisting in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborating with teams on high-tech manufacturing activities.
  • Use your hands to change builds in machines and post process parts
  • Use CAD software's to analyze and manipulate parts
  • Measure parts with laser and blue light scanners


What You'll Gain



  • Hands on experience using tools and 3D printers to make metal parts on the factory floor
  • Assist Sr. Engineer's with real aerospace and defense customer 3D metal printing projects
  • Learn what customers expect from an additive engineer
  • Learn cutting edge additive manufacturing in a field of high job and compensation growth field.

Basic Qualifications



  • Per OFCCP guidelines the candidate must meet ALL the basic qualifications for consideration


  • Enrollment in an engineering or materials science program.
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Hands-on mechanical skills and a team-oriented attitude.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Familiarity with 3D printing software
