Position Summary: The Electronic Banking Project Manager Officer is responsible for the management and oversight of the Electronic Banking Project Team and all stages of Electronic Banking projects, product upgrades and enhancements to ensure completion. This position will work closely with the Project Management office, other bank departments and third-party vendors to research, test and install products and enhancements. This position will manage the review and evaluation of new industry products and offerings, payment strategy recommendations and for the creation and execution of forward-thinking strategic roadmaps for Electronic Banking.
This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions:



  • Supervise Risk and Data in the Electronic Banking department to include all job functions performed by the Electronic Banking department staff members.
  • Oversee the daily job functions and develop and maintain a working knowledge of all Electronic Banking department staff positions, with focus being on department projects.
  • Assist Electronic Banking Department Head in all supervision and personnel issues for the Electronic Banking department, including holding regular staff meetings.
  • Responsible for personnel duties to include interviewing, development, performance, employee concerns, disciplinary issues and delegation of workload.
  • Assist staff in resolving routine and complex customer questions and problems.
  • Coordinate and train new and existing staff on all department job functions.
  • Maintain a working knowledge and skills of the industry as well as competition for Electronic Banking operations while participating in ongoing training and seminars.
  • Responsible for continual/proactive work on simplified Union Bank products and processes for our customers.
  • Responsible for coordination, communication and training of Electronic Banking products and services with other bank departments.
  • Prepare and conduct performance appraisals for the direct reports and assist Electronic Banking Department Head with preparation of annual budget and periodic budget review.
  • Responsible for the management of all stages of Electronic Banking projects from research to implementation to ensure completion. This includes working with Project Management Office, Electronic Banking Management team, IT teams, Marketing, Compliance, other Bank departments, and third-party vendors to research, test and install products and enhancements.
  • Responsible for managing the review and evaluation of new industry products and offerings and for the creation and execution of forward thinking, strategic roadmaps for Electronic Banking products in combination with related departments.
  • Oversee ensuring Electronic Banking products receive routine upgrades and enhancements.
  • Oversight of creating and managing accurate data reporting from Business Analytics software.
  • Ensure teammates are trained and comply with bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to their roles. Monitor subordinates' adherence to internal controls and take action to address employee performance issues.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or comparable banking experience a plus.
  • 3 years previous banking and/or Electronic Banking experience preferred.
  • 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Fiserv and other third-party vendor software.
  • Proficient in banking regulations.
