Job DescriptionThe role will be based at our San Francisco or Foster City office in the San Francisco Bay Area but consideration of alternative office locations in the US may be possible for exceptional candidates. Positioned within Visa's Corporate Strategy group, Visa's Knowledge Services team provides Visa colleagues with research assistance and access to external payment industry research. The team also works closely with Corporate Strategy colleagues and partners to develop and maintain knowledge assets of importance to senior leadership at Visa. Among its core activities, the team manages an internal website and platform that is accessible to all Visa staff. The platform hosts searchable research content, news and webinars relating to the payments sector. In addition, the team provides research support for colleagues around Visa globally, responding to research requests by conducting preliminary desktop research and conveying findings to the requester. The team also oversees the distribution of the 'Daily News Brief' and monthly newsletters, organizes regular 'In the Know' webinars on topics of broad interest in the payments sector and maintains a steady communications flow with users highlighting new research resources and materials as they become available. As one of four team members, a Senior Research Analyst on the Knowledge Services team will work independently while also sharing certain responsibilities with other team members. Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
