Job Description
Allied Universal is hiring an Operations Specialist is responsible for a multitude of security operations functions. The position supports primarily investigations at the client site to include trend tracking, metrics, data collection / analysis, and interviews. The position supports emergency response, dignitary visits, and other functions of security in support of the client. This role will require the chosen individual to maintain flexible schedules, and will require the individual to be oncall during nights & weekends as business needs arise, and work with minimal or no supervison for extended periods of time. Salary: $60,000 / Year Type and Length of Specific Experience Required: * Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in security, law enforcement, or other protective service related field * Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/management experience * Minimum of one (1) year of work experience conducting complex investigations and utilizing risk mitigation tactics and strategies * Experience with OSINT, OSINT related tools, platforms, and services RESPONSIBILITIES:
Predict future criminal activity, using analyses of intelligence data; Track potential trends related to theft and vandalism and take proactive steps to deter further incidents
- Evaluate records of communications, such as telephone calls, to plot activity and determine potential threats
- Gather and evaluate information, using tools such as photographs, computer equipment, or sensitive radio equipment;
- Gather intelligence information by field observation, confidential information sources, or public records
- Operate cameras, radios, or other surveillance equipment to intercept communications or document activities
- Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, maps, or charts based on research, collection, and analysis of intelligence data
- Overseeing the case intake, assign cases to fellow staff members, provide training on investigations, conduct case review, and ensure consistency on case investigation / documentation
- Develop and disseminate educational awareness materials
- Assist with threat detection and monitoring of client off site events up to and including in person support/travel.
- Participate in providing additional security during company events on campus as needed.
- Assist/lead investigations of human threats (internal and external) to the client and its employees though the use of Ontic and Open-Source Investigation (OSINT) to include investigation into threat's criminal record, social media accounts, addresses, occupations, and education of known entities.
- Collect, receive, and package physical evidence; store and ensure proper custody and control of physical evidence or property as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in security, law enforcement, or other protective service related field
* Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/management experience * Minimum of one (1) year of work experience conducting complex investigations and utilizing risk mitigation tactics and strategies * Experience with OSINT, OSINT related tools, platforms, and services - Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize multiple systems and applications
- Demonstrated problem solving, confidence and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate time sensitive tasks and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
