JOB OVERVIEW: The Profit Initiatives Specialist will be responsible for assisting in reviewing daily sales gross profit losses and coordinating with cross functional Team Schein Members in resolving issues and documenting actions, necessary follow ups, and outcomes in the designated activity tracker. The TSM will compile and analyze common causes of gross profit losses and collaborate with the Associate Manager and cross functional teams on design and creation of procedures and tools to identify and address issues. In addition, this individual will assist in loading and maintaining sales plan and/or customer level pricing into the pricing system as directed from the Sales Teams and other internal stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: GP Exception: Review and resolve daily gross profit losses and record actions taken to address issues, loss categories, and results in designated activity tracker. Identify and assist in the resolution of issues pertaining to chargebacks, commissions calculations, pricing design, order entry methods, and any other systems believed to be a cause of gross profit losses. Collaborate with management to create processes and tools to correct the issues. Assist sales team, contracts team, and pricing team in recovering gross profit losses where necessary (i.e. Credit Rebills, Price update, etc.) Pricing: Load and maintain sales plan and/or customer level pricing into pricing system as directed from the Sales Teams and other internal stakeholders. Calculate margins and fixed sell prices, unit of measure validations, and confirming gross profit for all product prices being loaded. Respond to inquiries and questions sent to the department inbox in a timely manner. Inquiries may involve interpreting and resolving pricing discrepancies and supplying pricing reports. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 4 or more years of related experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. The posted range for this position is $43,391 - 67,798 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
