Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of Electro-Optics Mechanical Engineer. The Electro-Optics Mechanical Engineer's primary responsibility will be to research, design, develop and test mechanical designs of infrared test equipment. The Electro-Optics Mechanical Engineer will be involved with product design including concepts, design reviews, documentation release and integration. The Electro-Optics Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciples to design mechanisms, precision optical mounts and product packaging. The Electro-Optics Mechanical Engineer will create new designs and perform related design modifications, malfunction and failure investigations and evaluations, technical report preparation and similar ancillary duties. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from four-year college or university; and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. $150k-$175k per year Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc.
