Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Underground Laborer with a CDL Class A to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the underground installation of fiber optics, anchors, vaults, and other related infrastructure. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the installation of underground fiber optic cables, anchors, vaults, and other related infrastructure. * Operate and maintain heavy equipment and vehicles, including those requiring a CDL Class A license. * Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, trenching, and backfilling. * Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and tools. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. * Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. * Maintain a clean and organized work site. Qualifications: * Valid CDL Class A license. * Previous experience in underground construction or a related field is preferred. * Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment. * Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. * Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * High school diploma or equivalent. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
