Chem-Aqua - Senior Water Treatment Engineer

Chem-Aqua is the wholly owned water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, a privately owned specialty chemicals, maintenance supplies, and services company with over $1 billion in annual sales.We need experienced talent for our growing Chem-Aqua technical team.

TheSenior Water Treatment Engineer candidate will work with experienced engineers and mentor less experienced engineers on all aspects of water treatment in a variety of industries. In this role, you will leverage your educational or work experiences and provide technical sales support.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive technical background, good mechanical aptitude, and 10+ years of water treatment experience. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, enjoy learning, problem solving, and teaching others.

TheSenior Water Treatment Engineer position is based in Irving, Texas and will work in the North American Engineering group. This positionencourages professional development by gaining the candidate experience in a variety of facilities and offering the opportunity for specialization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to our sales representatives, sales managers and customers to solve complex problems
• Help train and support sales representatives and colleagues
• Help develop new training and technical support materials
• Provide support for key sales, training, or research initiatives
• Complete technical audits and reviews for key accounts
• Provide technical support for large account proposals
• Participate in special projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

• 10+ years of industrial water treatment
• Bachelor's degree chemistry, engineering, biology or other science required
• Extensive experience in boiler water and cooling water sales
• Experience in raw water, wastewater, and process treatment a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Great organizational skills, close attention to detail, excellent follow through, and ability to multi-task all a must
• Must have a positive attitude, a commitment to client service and a willingness to support the office team with a variety of assignments
• Must possess high-level of professionalism and strong communication skills
