The School of Music in the College of Arts & Science invites applications for a Senior Recording Producer to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team. You'll be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality audio recordings across a range of settings, including live performances, rehearsals, studio sessions, and special projects. Whether behind the console or on the stage floor, you'll ensure our performances are heard at their very best. In this role, you'll:
To thrive here, you'll need a deep understanding of industry-standard tools and workflows, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Your ability to work seamlessly with faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community partners will be key to your success. This position is anticipated to begin in mid-summer. Shift
This is a 40 hours/week job. Schedule is typically, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with wide flexibility on days/times due to performances and events. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and highly accomplished individual with a bachelor's degree in audio engineering or a related field and professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
