Requisition ID req33252 Working Title Systems/Network Analyst 3 Position Grade 14 Position Summary The Systems/ Network Analyst 3, is an integral part of the IT Networks Group and will support traditional Access, Distribution, and Core layers of networking. This position will be working on the Wireless Network team and will be responsible for installing, and maintaining wireless equipment, and addressing wireless issues in a multi-vendor network environment. This position will be responsible for serving as the escalation resource for the junior staff for ticket resolution. Systems Network Analyst 3s are responsible for high level project planning and implementation, wireless designs, and cost estimation. You'll also need the ability to leverage your networking knowledge to triage, troubleshoot, and stay with a ticket until resolution. Systems/ Networks Analyst 3 are frequently assigned design projects that range from minor enhancements to wireless network installation for new buildings, to new construction and remodels, to configuring and deploying new wireless controllers to enhance our wireless deployment. A strong knowledge of Layers 1 through 3 of networking concepts is required for this position. Work will be performed in a team-based environment in collaboration with functional and technical staff, management and other stakeholders. Work experience in a Higher Education environment is a plus. We are looking for an individual with experience working in highly technical environments, and can assist in improving technology services, and who demonstrates a strong customer service outlook and excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
