We're looking for a Director, Corporate Public Relations to join our Marketing organization. In this role, you'll lead Procore's global corporate PR function and will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the company's external reputation, while supporting key business, company and campaign initiatives through strategic communications programs.

As the Director, Corporate Public Relations, you'll partner with Procore leadership, the Global PR team, and regional agencies to drive awareness of who Procore is and how we partner with the construction industry. You will drive Procore's Corporate PR program with business and financial acumen, deep knowledge of the business and tech media landscape, and share reputation management expertise to raise affinity and awareness of Procore. This position reports to the Senior Director of Brand Communications and will be based out of our Austin, TX office. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Corporate PR Strategy: Partner with the Senior Director of Brand Communications to lead Procore's Global Corporate Communications function. Responsibilities include driving Procore's financial/earnings media strategy, building out Procore's M&A communications playbook, and overseeing our reputation management/incident response programs, helping us navigate complex issues with clarity, confidence and transparency.

  • North American PR Strategy: Lead the strategy and execution of successful Public Relations campaigns in North America, including product launches, company milestones, and Procore's annual user's conference, Groundbreak. Drive media coverage tied to product, company, earnings, and campaign news with an array of strategic business, technology, and vertical media partners.

  • Corporate Events: Lead PR strategy and planning for Procore's annual conference, Groundbreak, including on-site media logistics, content development, activity planning, interview preparation, etc.

  • Agency Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Procore's North American PR agency to drive awareness of Procore in compelling media stories.

  • Campaign Activation: Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the business to develop and execute proactive and reactive programs that align with corporate initiatives and priorities.

  • Content Development: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Revenue teams to uncover local stories, insights, and thought leadership topics to generate regular content in North America. Examples of content include media pitches, corporate blogs, external speaking opportunities, curated bylines, and press releases.

What we're looking for:

  • 12+ years of experience in driving impactful Corporate Communications and Public Relations programs, preferably with a mix of in-house and agency experience for high-growth, public SaaS companies.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Executive presence - must be a trusted partner and advisor to executives, comfortable with direct open communication and coaching, discourse and critical thinking.

  • Financial savvy - must have previous examples of M&A and financial/earnings support, with a deep understanding of how public companies operate.

  • Ability to balance short- and long-term goals and translate them into brand solutions.

  • Results-driven with a focus on measurable impact.

  • Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels and functions.

  • Strong attention to detail and copyediting skills.

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $172,000 - $236,500. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
