The below is a position with Marley Engineered Products. Marley Engineered Products is a marketplace leader in innovative comfort heating and ventilation solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. With a portfolio that includes baseboard, wall, unit and infrared heaters as well as ceiling fans and air circulators, we create simplified heating solutions for our complex world.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an ERP Systems Manager, you will contribute to developing a variety of solutions to meet the company's business requirements, with a focus on supporting and developing various business applications ( InforXA, SyteLine 9, Add-on ERP Applications, Time & Attendance, Shop Floor Applications-Scanning, etc.), as well as proprietary ERP event code. Serve as the primary business contact for all financial business applications, handling analysis, configuration, and development. Prioritize requests, projects, and customer needs with minimal oversight from upper management. Act as the primary liaison between the business and the IT team across multiple company locations.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

1. Application Support & System Administration

  • Provide application support for InforXA, Syteline 9, Shop Floor Data Collection, Business Analytics, and other critical applications as needed.
  • Support, develop, and maintain InforXA and Syteline 9administration functions, including monitoring batch jobs, advanced queries, quick reports, form changes and updates and customizations.
  • Provide first- and second-level IT support for troubleshooting, incident resolution, and project requests.
  • Manage partner relationship for InforXA changes to objects, including views, package builds, and event-based development.
  • Ensure compliance with annual SOX reporting requirements, including maintaining logs for system errors and data modifications.

2. Business Analysis & Development

  • Develop and support new reports while working with staff to produce detailed specifications.
  • Consult with users regarding specific projects and gather user requirements.
  • Address management and customer concerns related to system usability, lack of adequate information, and inefficiently presented data.
  • Review job specifications and discuss program purpose, data inputs, and output requirements with support partner and users.
  • Prepare specifications, documentation, and flowcharts, ensuring adherence to department standards.

3. Data Security, Strategy, & ERP Management

  • Safeguard company data by ensuring robust backup systems and effective data security measures.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT, capturing business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Lead ERP migrations and consolidations across business units.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
Required Experience

  • 5 (plus) years of experience of ERP Administration/Support
  • Sound analytical skills, mathematical skills, and ability to solve critical problems.
  • Advanced technological knowledge of structured programming application design.
  • Experience with Change Management
  • Experience with SOX auditing requirements
  • Knowledge of , building and modifying business documents and data for use in monthly reporting and EDI
  • Experience using SQL to navigate ERP data to support reporting and data mapping project requirements
  • Able to multitask well, use own initiative, and have a strong problem-solving background
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of InforXA
  • Knowledge of AS400
  • Knowledge of Syteline 9
  • Knowledge of IBM Power Systems
  • Knowledge of SQL, C+ a plus

* Some travel may be required for system implementations and training
