Advanced Mechanical Engineer

This is mostly an onsite position in Florham Park, NJ.

As a mechanical engineer for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems business, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing hardware for challenging maritime applications.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: CAD mechanical design (especially CREO), structural and thermal analysis, design for harsh environments (especially maritime).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with CAD mechanical design (especially CREO), structural and thermal analysis, and design for harsh environments (especially maritime - ship/submarine).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write technical papers and proposals
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
