Job Title:Marketing Coordinator Job Description:

Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the Marketing Department's project work flow, including resource allocation, budgeting, timing and deadlines. The Marketing Coordinator also handles a wide variety of basic marketing tasks and requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a Project Management system for department-wide use.
  • Handle resource allocation and manage deadlines for incoming requests.
  • Design and completion of ads/requests outside the scope campaign advertising (300/year).
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations Director in maintaining and improving the data quality of contacts.
  • Help and assistance with internal newsletter development.
  • Assist marketing staff with developing presentations.
  • Managing all aspects of promotional items including inventory, ordering and vendor relationships.
  • Printing bids and print logistics/coordination/deadlines.
  • Logo coordination with sponsorships, events and partnerships.
  • Ticket distribution with field for events.
  • Headshot coordination and create/manage headshot/photo database.
  • Managing/uploading/coordinating content onto the intranet.
  • Managing and completing all compliance review and approvals.
  • Agendas for meetings and events.
  • Survey setup and results presentations (formatting graphics, etc.)
  • Preparing, formatting and editing a wide range of documents; general office duties.
  • Assist with event logistics as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Extremely detail oriented and a master of project work flow
  • Deadline oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Team player - works very well with others
  • Great people skills - ability to juggle many personality types
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic graphic design skills

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred, marketing focused.
  • 4+ years relevant experience - administrative support experience helpful.

Computer and software skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable with basic design in software such as Quark, InDesign, and Adobe.
