What You'll Do

The Staff Accountant will act as an accounting business partner to support the shared service center and corporate functions which support all divisions worldwide. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the preparation of division financial statements and participating in the division and worldwide monthly close process to ensure accurate and timely results that comply with company guidelines and requirements.



  • Manage and perform general ledger accounting processes supporting the shared service center for assigned areas of responsibility.


  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information as assigned.


  • Summarize financial status for assigned divisions by collecting information; preparing account reconciliations and other financial statements.


  • Provide accounting support to business units and departments as assigned.


  • Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.


  • Support all divisions worldwide through the preparation of key reports and reconciliations in functions such as treasury, fixed assets and travel/expense.


  • Maintain documentation of policies and procedures and support opportunities to improve process efficiencies.
    Support quarterly reviews, and annual audit efforts.


  • Work with the supervisor to ensure deadlines are met and all deliverables completed in a timely fashion.


  • Participate in leveraging IT systems to enhance closing and reporting process and assist with implementations as needed.


  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by management.

What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 1+ years of experience.


  • Excellent verbal and effective written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.


  • A high degree of accuracy, critical thinking, and attention to detail are all essential to success in the position.


  • Continuous improvement mindset is required.


  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office products.
