Cox Automotive is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of our successful team, providing vital support in reporting, budget and forecasting activities, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis for the Consumer Solutions business within Cox Automotive. This role will specifically support the Advertising Solutions group within the Consumer business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct monthly development and interpretation of financial results.
  • Perform variance analysis and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Identify trends and business drivers to make informed recommendations.
  • Serve as the finance lead supporting the Consumer Advertising VP of Operations and management team, providing comprehensive financial support for the businesses.
  • Partner with business leads and matrix partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.
  • Assist in developing recommendations through analysis, offering financial and operational insights necessary to manage and enhance the team's performance.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 4+ years of work experience in a financial environment including strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results. A candidate may also have a Masters' Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience.
  • Solid analytical and research capabilities required
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one's own work
  • Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations
  • Experience with OneStream Enterprise Financial system is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


USD 79,400.00 - 119,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
