What we're looking for:

Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Senior Specialist to accelerate growth of our online software marketplaces through personalized email experiences to extend the customer lifecycle efforts. In coordination with the Growth Marketing team, this role will drive the end-to-end email campaign execution for the Gartner Digital Markets.

Why you'll want to come to work:

  • Helping develop lifecycle campaign, audience and testing strategy focused on team/initiative goals and KPIs

  • Independently setting up QA, and managing lifecycle campaigns, automated triggers and transactional communications across email, push, in-app messages, and SMS, as well as updating and maintaining content cards in our native app

  • Updating email HTML and templates to meet campaign requirements and copy structure

  • Managing and updating marketing calendar of upcoming and completed campaigns

  • Identify and define metrics, trends, and reports needed to optimize channel effectiveness

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of channels outside of email, making data-driven adjustments to improve results and maximize impact.

  • Experience building campaigns and journeys to improve customer lifetime value

  • Demonstrated expertise in customer segmentation and analysis of subscribers

  • Demonstrated expertise in growing active email contact database through robust nurture strategies

  • Support an ongoing testing roadmap for email templates, messaging, creative, and landing pages, and regularly report out on test results

  • Develop new testing ideas to improve email and overall campaign performance

  • Partner with the Product team to improve user journeys to optimize the performance of our landing pages

  • Support peers with their customer segmentation approach and data requirements to extend lifecycle engagement and achieve relevant, targeted messaging throughout buying journey

  • Collaborate in cross-functional campaign development workflow by driving requirements through Marketing Ops, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams

  • Develop the skills to become a subject matter expert for B2B/B2C best practices for email marketing and regularly present trends and recommendations across the organization

  • Partner with teams to ensure that data required for campaigns are created, documented, and brought into Eloqua and/or CDP

  • Partner closely with Performance Marketing, Brand Management, Sales, Reviews, and Content teams to collaborate on building an integrated marketing channel approach across a unified customer experience

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Focus area in Marketing preferred.

  • 5+ years' relevant experience, ideally at a leading B2B technology company or online marketplace

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment, coordinating closely with 2+ teams

  • Interest in the marketing tech stacks and orchestrating email programs using integrated sales and marketing systems.

  • Experience with Eloqua or equivalent Marketing Automation technology required (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, etc.)

  • Strong proficiency of HTML/CSS

  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Power BI

  • Experience working with CRMs (SugarCRM, Salesforce, etc.)

  • A highly collaborative and "team-first" work style

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills and strong executive presence. Comfortable interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 87,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
