We're looking for an enthusiastic and data-driven Owned Media Specialist (CRM) to join our & Other Stories team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day management and optimization of email & SMS strategies driving customer retention, engagement, and revenue through our owned marketing channels. This position within the local organization sits at the intersection of ecommerce, performance marketing, and customer retention. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day execution and ongoing optimization of & Other Stories' email & SMS campaigns.
- Plan and manage the commercial retention marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with local priorities and global brand initiatives.
- Leverage customer data and behavior insights to inform strategy - analyzing acquisition channels, purchase patterns, cohort trends, and retention drivers.
- Plan, build, and deploy email campaigns, automated flows, and text-based communications that deliver value and inspire brand connection.
- Concept, implement, and analyze A/B tests across subject lines, creative, send times, and content to continuously enhance performance.
- Create impactful email and SMS copy specifically designed to engage customers to drive positive business outcomes.
- Manage audience segmentation strategies to ensure messaging reaches the most relevant and engaged customers.
- Partner closely with the Creative team, leading the end-to-end briefing process for campaign assets and retention initiatives.
- Regularly report on key performance metrics across retention channels, providing insights and actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Work cross-functionally with the eCommerce, Merchandising, and Global teams to align on product focuses, commercial opportunities, and key campaign moments.
- Potential for travel to align with Global team opportunities and key campaigns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or Owned Media channels, ideally within a fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand.
- Understanding of CRM and SMS platforms. Adobe Campaign, Emarsys, Attentive experience a plus.
- Proven experience with campaign planning, execution, and optimizations across email and SMS including automated and trigger-based journeys.
- Solid understanding of customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and retention marketing best practices.
- Experience running and analyzing A/B tests to optimize campaign performance.
- Experience with compelling copywriting and editing to drive CRM within a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand.
- Highly data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills. Able to interpret data, create reports, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. Ability to present data clearly to business leaders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Ecommerce, Merchandising, Global, and Marketing.
- A passion for fashion and digital storytelling.
- Familiarity with customer loyalty programs a plus.
- Experience working with international brands a plus.
- Knowledge of Canadian market and French language a plus.
- Valid passport a plus.
Compensation: The salary range for this role is- $86.804- 95,000 annually Additional Information
This is a Full-Time Permanent contract, based in our New York Office.We currently operate a hybrid working model, where colleagues are required to work a minimum of 3 days in the office. This hybrid working model is subject to change at the sole discretion of the company.
