Title: Construction Vehicle Technician (CDL A, Forklift and OSHA 10 required) Duration: 6+ months Contract Pay Rate: $37/hr on w2 Location: Riverside, CA 92503 Shift timings: Mon - Thu 6 AM - 4 PM BG/DT Required: Yes Job Description: The selected candidate will utilize their automotive mechanical/electrical skills and knowledge in procedures, and methods of servicing, maintaining, and repairing variety of automotive light and medium vehicles. Responsibilities will include, perform and / or assist with maintenance and repairs of heavy construction equipment, as well as mobile stationary equipment and systems. This may include gas, diesel, and hybrid vehicles such as cars, sport utility vehicles, pickups and trucks of varied size and configurations, graders, bulldozers, tractor-trailers. tankers, cranes, and other construction-related heavy equipment. Knowledge and experience at least 5years experience and knowledge in MACS, and Road Truck BIT is a plus. Certification Required: Hearing Conservation Training. Audiometric Hearing Exam. California Commercial "A " Driver's License. DMV Medical Exam. Pre-Employment Substance (Drug) Test. Certificate of Violations. Defensive Driver- National Safety Council. Heat Illness Prevention. OSHA 10 Hour-General Industry. Forklift Operator Certification. Tunnel/Confined Space Safety. SOOMS Working Knowledge. COVID-19 Safety Talk ST2250. Wildfire Smoke and Worker Protection - ST2100. Desires Experience Below: High school diploma or GED in addition to a minimum of 2 years recent experience in an automotive light/medium or heavy equipment maintenance position. May be required to obtain a valid Drivers license from state of residency equivalent to a California Class A or B with appropriate commercial license endorsements.
