ARES is seeking a Requirements Analyst to provide comprehensive Forms Modernization project support for the Forms Services area of the Information, Data and Analytics (IDAS) Service Line in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). - This is a temporary position spanning 1.5 years in support of IDAS Forms Services. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Agency customers as they are guided through the process of migrating approximately 4,200 forms to a modern platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Forms, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
- Specific responsibilities will include extensive customer engagement to understand the use case of each form, leading requirements gathering sessions, and providing consultations to help customers select a suitable replacement based on a strong understanding of their business needs.
- The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the modern platforms to provide customers with a gap analysis against their existing form, and they must provide solutions for resolving any technical limitations that have been identified.
- Additional responsibilities will include comprehensive project documentation including the development and maintenance of a communications plan, artifacts to provide project leadership and customers with status updates and reports, documentation of workflows and data dependencies, development of user guides and training materials for custom form development efforts, gathering and incorporating customer feedback throughout the migration process, providing training and guidance to new customers on their new platform, and resolving all platform adoption issues.
- Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.
Minimum Experience/Competencies/Skills:
- Extensive experience leading requirements gathering sessions to intuitively adapt the conversation as needed to effectively extract business needs.
- Extensive experience interfacing with customers in high level organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively deliver on customer objectives independently and as part of a team with minimal direction.
- Detail-oriented and critical thinker with the ability to prioritize and manage customer expectations across multiple competing tasks with aggressive due dates.
- Working knowledge of the forms capabilities associated with the following platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Forms, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and ITIL 4 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; 8 years of relevant experience
