Apply now Job Summary A research assistant will participate in a translational autism research project supported by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). This project aims to assess the efficacy of peptides as a new drug for autism, particularly in neuronal morphology and neural circuits during brain development. A research assistant provides support to postdoctoral researchers and graduate students by preparing reagents, performing basic experiments and data analysis, preparing manuscripts and figures, and maintaining animal colonies. Additional Information This position is classified as non-exempt, grade F. Compensation for this grade ranges from $14.10 to $ 21.15 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
