Location: Dover, NH POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of Mortgage/Equity and Lending management, the Mortgage/Equity Servicer is responsible for the preparation of periodic loan accounting reports, loan payment processing and administration of mortgages and equities; reconciliation and administration of insurances, annual escrow analysis, 1098 reporting; and loan sales to FHLMC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintains mortgage information including payment postings, importing new loans and updating member information, processing payoffs, curtailments, monthly billing statements, escrow accounts, discharges, adjustments, and account research, etc. * Assists with completion of first mortgage and equity loan fundings. * Answers telephone inquiries from staff, members and other financial institutions regarding payoffs, change of owner, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other details of existing loans. * Prepares routine letters to members such as late notices, change of payments, and draw period expirations. * Accurately prepares all assigned reports in a timely manner. * Ensures all data entry is completed with zero unresolved errors. * Follows and adheres to the Credit Union's policy regarding attendance and punctuality. JOB SPECIFICATIONS * Must demonstrate strong organization, accuracy and attention to detail. * Work involves extensive communication including, but not limited to, verbal, written and electronic. * Strong personal interaction and collaboration skills required. * Provide friendly, accurate, professional service to members and associates by responding to messages and correspondence. * Keep up to date with all required compliance and credit union training. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE * Minimum 1 year experience in financial / mortgage related / lending. * A high school education or GED. WORK ARRANGEMENT: The working arrangement for this position is hybrid. Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization.
