Position SummaryExperiment Assistance: Assist in the execution of experiments under the guidance of senior researchers. Learn and apply basic laboratory techniques relevant to life science research. 1. Microscopy Support: Operate and maintain basic microscopy equipment. Receive training in sample preparation and imaging procedures. 2. Data Collection: Help collect experimental data, record observations, and maintain detailed lab notebooks. Learn to use data analysis tools and contribute to preliminary data interpretation. 3. Sample Preparation: Participate in sample preparation activities following established protocols. Contribute to maintaining a well-organized laboratory environment. 4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow undergraduate assistants, graduate students, and researchers. Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions. 5. Learning Opportunities: Use training opportunities to enhance knowledge of life sciences, microscopy, and research methodologies. Attend workshops and seminars to broaden your skill set. 6. Documentation: Learn the importance of accurate record-keeping and contribute to maintaining organized records in compliance with laboratory protocols.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  1. 1. Currently, enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in a life science discipline.
  2. Strong interest in life science research and experimentation.
  3. Eagerness to learn and apply laboratory techniques.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Previous coursework in biology, chemistry, or related fields.
  7. Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques.
  8. Enthusiasm for microscopy and imaging technologies.
  9. Ability to work well in a team environment.
