UPWARD OBLIGATION ADJUSTMENT SPECIALIST BB&E is an employee-owned, full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Upward Obligation Adjustment Specialist (UOA Specialist) to support AFCEC/CFD Tyndall PMO staff at Tyndall AFB, FL. This is an on-site position.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Drafting and managing Upward Obligation Adjustment (UOA) documents for a growing number of contract modifications for the Tyndall rebuild program
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Monitor the large number of Construction Contractor deliverables that are associated with each of the MILCON contracts
- Coordinate the Draft UOA's with the Execution Branch team
- Evaluate cost, performance, applicability of methods, development of initial methodologies and life cycle cost analysis
Key Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Software: Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and portable document format (PDF)
- Self-Starter and Team Player: Highly motivated, with the ability to perform at a high level of quality with minimal supervision; ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team of individuals to meet the needs of our clients
Experience & Education
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience of directly applicable work experience
- Direct experience with AFCEC/CFSD (military, civilian, Contractor including A&AS and Title II)
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
