Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

At Smith+Nephew, we believe in helping people regain their lives through advanced wound care solutions. As a trusted leader in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), our portfolio-including RENASYS TOUCH, RENASYS EDGE, and PICO-supports clinicians and patients from hospital to home. We're looking for a Hospital Sales Liaison to support the successful implementation and adoption of our NPWT product lines within acute care settings.

As a key member of the NPWT commercial team, the Hospital Sales Liaison plays a critical role in supporting post-conversion success, facilitating product adoption, and ensuring smooth transitions of care. This on-site role will be embedded within acute care facilities, working closely with clinicians, discharge planners, and hospital staff to ensure product availability, adherence, and continuity of therapy for patients transitioning to the post-acute setting.

What will you be doing?

  • Support NPWT portfolio adoption (RENASYS TOUCH, RENASYS EDGE, PICO) in acute care facilities post-conversion.

  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Smith+Nephew and hospital staff to drive utilization and clinical engagement.

  • Monitor and help manage on-site inventory to prevent product loss and ensure availability.

  • Partner with discharge planners and care coordinators to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home with post-acute devices (RENASYS EDGE and PICO).

  • Educate clinicians and staff on device setup, usage, and best practices to optimize outcomes and adherence.

  • Coordinate with Smith+Nephew field sales and support teams to resolve issues and share updates from the hospital setting.

  • Track and report facility-level adoption metrics and identify opportunities for increased utilization or operational improvement.

  • Maintain a professional presence within assigned facilities, building trust and strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Experience working in or with acute care hospitals-background in case management, clinical education, durable medical equipment, or medical device support preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident working directly with hospital staff at all levels.

  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to manage details while supporting larger commercial objectives.

  • Familiarity with wound care or NPWT products is a plus.

  • Comfortable spending 80-90% of time in hospital settings; minimal to no travel required
