Description

Position Summary:

The Loan Operations Quality Assurance Specialist II role ensures that the loan operations department is following process and procedures. The Specialist must have experience with bank loans that focus on knowledge in all processes of reviewing loan documents, understanding how to secure many types of collateral, accurately booking and servicing loans, reviewing loan reports and loan maintenance reports. Types of loans at this position level include internally and attorney prepared commercial and consumer loans for the purpose of refinancing, working capital lines of credit, acquisition financing, equipment or vehicle financing, and real estate secured transactions. This position requires excellent internal and external client relations and communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Using core system platforms (Abrigo/Xperience)
  • Reviewing Internally prepared Loan Transactions for booking accuracy
  • Reviewing Attorney prepared Loan Transactions for booking accuracy
  • Review Operating Agreements & Entity Documents
  • Confirming Collateral above is properly Secured
  • Verifying Loan Transactions are completed accurately
  • Monitor Department Reports for accuracy and to prevent fraud
  • Monitor Department Reports to ensure Department Processes and Procedures are being adhered to
  • Communicate errors and missing items and explain their importance
  • Assist with Research/Maintenance as needed
  • Other duties and/or projects as deemed appropriate by Manager
  • Attend meetings and training as required to continue development and to enhance knowledge of products, processes, and technologies
  • Adhere to all Texas Partners Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Education and Experience Qualifications: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). A minimum of 3 year's banking experience, preferably with loan experience or a proven mastery of the responsibilities listed above.
