As a Security Professional - Hospital Rounds in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and responding to situations as needed. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This role is ideal for individuals who are agile, reliable, and committed to creating a positive environment for all who visit or work at the facility.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities during emergency or critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
