*PAY:* $23-$25/hr *HOURS:* M-F 8:30- 5:30 PM *JOB DESCRIPTION:* The Mortgage Closing Specialist role is responsible for supporting various Channels. As the Mortgage Closing Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. Perform routine data entry and validation tasks Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.) Review and validate loan documents Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses Monitor work queues and intervening as needed Working with Refinance Loans and Purchase Loans. Scrubbing Loan Files. Making sure taxes and insurance are correct. Goal is to be closing 8-10 Loans A Day. Working with Urgency, in fast paced environment. You will not be speaking with barrowers directly. *REQUIREMENTS:* *Mortgage Closing Experience required* General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local mortgage regulations a plus Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment Effective time management skills to deliver work on time Capable communicator, written and oral Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications #WestPriority25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
