Job Description

The Risk Analyst is responsible for maintaining and analyzing various aspects of the company's insurance programs while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and maintain insurance data. Additionally, they will evaluate processes for efficiency improvements, support ad-hoc projects and build relationships with stakeholders to achieve risk management goals.

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrate an inquisitive spirit, understand risk finance, leverage strong data management and reporting capabilities and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing various aspects of the company's insurance programs, including claims handling, invoice processing, administrative support, renewal exposures, insurance applications and financial tracking. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong prioritization skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to manage insurance-related matters.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and maintain insurance exposures and applications for annual renewals, premium audits and ongoing reporting.
  • Track and allocate insurance-related invoices and expenses, ensuring proper accounting and reporting.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, coordinate insurance-related processes, including reporting claims to third-party handlers, and track property risk control updates.
  • Monitor claim progress, identify and address delays and collaborate with stakeholders to help ensure timely resolution
  • Evaluate current processes, recommend, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance progress of Risk Management goals and initiatives.
  • Support the risk management department with ad-hoc projects, including special reports, audits, and additional insurance-related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in Insurance Risk Management.
  • Strong understanding of business insurance policies, claims, invoicing and renewal processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with analytic and Risk Management applications (e.g., Power BI, Origami) is preferred.
  • Manufacturing and/or building product industry experience is preferred but not required.

The US base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 annually + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
