Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to coordinate and aid in the process and procedure of data capture/recording, transfer, and support data reduction, analysis, reporting, evaluation, and assessment of PoR C4I, TDL, Simulation, and TDL Test Tool systems.
Responsibilities
- Utilize common Tactical Data Link (TDL) data analysis tools to support the validation of system requirements, root-cause and troubleshooting of complex issues observed or documented during testing.
- Utilize system specifications and requirement documentation to support analysis.
- Research technical documentation and requirements to support analysis findings.
- Decompose test requirements from various TDL systems and interface specifications to test specific capabilities of a system.
- Contribute to requirement results and test requirement traceability.
- Support in the planning and development approach of new systems, new capabilities and functionality of the system.
- Contribute to investigations regarding new technical concepts and capabilities to support the development of new analysis methods and metrics.
- Generate and/or contribute to required test reports, which include Test Observation Report forms, Final Test Reports and Test Plans.
- Periodically stand-in as a Test Engineer to support during testing efforts.
- Provide support of data transfer via multiple formats (e.g., Digital Data Storage (DDS), Digital Audio Tapes (DAT), Data Cartridges, CD/DVD, electronic/digital (Aspera, Exodus, SharePoint), etc.) to test event data requestors
- Operates standard computer-based business tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel) effectively.
- Independently generates documentation that presents ideas and/or information in a logical manner.
- Able to organize the information and use the best methods and/or formats for its delivery.
- Potential to travel domestically 5-15% of the time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Education/Licensure/Credentials
Required:
- High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- This position requires an existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individuals must be able to maintain the required security clearance/eligibility for continued employment. U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Job Located at a U.S. Government Facility
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or Engineering in discipline
Experience
Required:
- Two (2) years of experience operating various Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, U.S. Military Communication Systems and associated interfaces and computer control equipment.
Preferred:
- Desire experience with Navy Command and Control (C2) operational concepts and environments; Navy C2 architectures, participants and operations involved.
- Seven (7) years of Professional experience in systems engineering
