Material Handler

Staffmark is seeking a motivated and dependable Material Handler to join our team in Vidalia, LA. This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to build a stable and rewarding career in a supportive environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts following a Dupont schedule

As a Material Handler, you'll support production by moving, staging, and organizing materials safely and efficiently. This role involves operating forklifts, pulling and delivering inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely material flow throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Pull and deliver materials to production areas
• Stage finished goods for shipping
• Complete safety checklists and follow protocols
• Assist with inventory, loading/unloading, and general warehouse tasks
• Report issues or shortages to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. assisted), and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
