Job Description

The Experiential Marketing Manager leads in the development and execution of a broad suite of B2B marketing communications to enhance our customers experience, including but not limited to tradeshows and events, content creation, and customer communications. The role enhances the projection of innovations, technologies and general brand awareness across target companies and industries, with dedicated focus on exceptional customer engagement, and supporting sales enablement throughout the business. Acts as the steward of the Amcor brand to the market in North America segments working closely with external creative agencies and occasionally with Amcor global partners.

YOUR ROLE IN UNPACKING POSSIBILITIES

Trade Shows & Events:

  • Accountability for marketing communication events and content that delivers sales and customer retention. Constantly explore, research and recommend best practices. Identify trends and insights for all campaigns and events to optimize spend and performance.
  • Responsibility for strategy and execution of annual tradeshow program, including contracts, layouts, graphic design, and messaging. Work collaboratively across functions to identify opportunities and articulate differentiated value propositions. Vision-focused leader who can also manage tactical deliverables on-time and on-budget, working well under pressure.

Content Creation:

  • Development and/or creative oversight of advertising, promotional materials, digital strategy and SEM, trademarks, and awards.
  • Development and execution of the promotional strategy for innovation, products, technologies and customer wins. Responsible for building and managing presence in publications.
  • Manages development of key customer communications as requested for product and technology launches, and broad focused presentations,

Stakeholder management:

  • Responsibility for strategy and execution of lead processes, working collaboratively between marketing communications, integrated sales, and field sales. Long-term focus on measurement and follow up.
  • Ongoing briefing and debriefing internally, and with external partners.

Strategic Branding & Awards:

  • Develop and lead internal strategy and oversight to ensure functions that are brand stewards understand and can articulate the Amcor brands (ex. sales, marketing and R&D.)
  • Manage and execute on the annual industry awards opportunities, including writing submissions, announcements, and press releases.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • A minimum of 5 years B2B tradeshow and event experience - building events of many sizes from the ground up focused on audience engagement and ability to show KPIs, and vendor management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors, manage large projects independently.
  • Strong copywriting skills, working knowledge of AP Style, ability to develop distinctive value propositions.
  • Change leadership, transforming and aligning the organization through its people to drive for improvement in a new and challenging direction.
  • Strategic orientation and the ability to think long-term, interactively, and beyond one's own area.
  • Team leadership to focus, align and build effective teams in order to achieve results
  • Develop organization capability to ensure the long term capabilities of others and the organization
  • Results orientation that is focused on getting results supported by improvements and changes, measurement and tracking of results, maintaining and managing budgets.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in communications, integrated communications, marketing or advertising preferred
  • 5 years marketing communications experience - preferably in B2B industry
  • Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills across wide range of audiences
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and success working in cross functional environments
