Job Description
Primary Purpose Responsible for supervising, leading, planning, coordinating, and completing operations and maintenance tasks/projects related to gas compressors, related mechanical and electrical equipment at compression facilities. This position requires the incumbent to work independently with minimal supervision and work other than normal work hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, train, and provide guidance to other field OM employees, both on technical and company administrative and operating policies and procedures. Ensure OM responsibilities are performed according to established policies and practices.- Lead, plan, and execute upcoming projects and tasks.
- Evaluate and optimize mechanical, instrumentation, and electronic efficiencies.
- Manage, coordinate and communicate with vendors, contractors, encroachers, etc. to optimize production of the rental of equipment, ordering material or parts and scheduling work repairs.
- Complete and coordinate required paperwork: reports, requisitions, etc.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, instrumentation, and electronic problems.
- Perform and monitor preventative maintenance.
- Make decisions on behalf of manager when manager is absent.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education
- Technician/Vocational - Technician's or industrial degree or certification or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
Experience
- 7+ Related experience. Required
- 2+ maintenance management scheduling - Required
- 2+ Previous supervisory experience. Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and electronic principals.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, one-line diagrams, piping alignment sheets, etc.
- Ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner including ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Possess intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Access) specifically for the purposes of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and information retrieval.
- Ability to maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with all Company policies as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- PLC Programming Experience
Work Schedule
OFFICE: Work onsite at a company facility due to the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the position.

$100,900.00 - $165,000.00 / year
