GENERAL SUMMARY: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: People Functions as an expert resource and consultant to management and staff on nursing, education and professional practice. Service Quality and Safety Designs and implements program evaluation methods to elicit results useful in development of new programs or revisions of current programs. Analyses data for future comparisons and improvements. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum five years clinical experience and two years of teaching experience in a university or college and/or hospital/health care institution. Competence in curriculum or program design, development and evaluation. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to inspire commitment and to energize people to achieve mutual goals. Must be self directed and able to work independently. Ability to integrate knowledge of cultural diversity into role. Possesses broad knowledge of health care systems, trends, and the care continuum.
