THE ROLE:

Manager, Audience Innovation is a dynamic, revenue-focused role supporting the growth and success of A+E Networks' Precision + Performance data-driven ad sales solutions. This position plays a key part in prioritizing audience-based sales strategies, optimizing revenue opportunities, and supporting the sales team in delivering data-driven advertising solutions to clients.

You will work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Research, and external partners to develop audience-driven sales opportunities, manage precision pricing strategies, and support revenue tracking. This role requires strong communication skills, a sales-led mindset and the ability to drive business forward in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead day-to-day account needs of ordered, cross-platform targeted campaigns: Partner with sales teams to develop and execute audience-driven advertising solutions, ensuring seamless communication with agencies and clients on complex targeting strategies.
  • Support revenue growth and tracking: Manage revenue tracking and data fee analyses, ensuring accurate reporting and maximizing revenue yield opportunities.
  • Engage in direct client interactions and own linear programmatic agency connections: Support sales calls, provide data-driven insights, and act as a key resource for owned agency relationships.
  • Optimize audience planning tools for sales success: Work with key stakeholders to coordinate plan development and ensure seamless execution of data-driven sales strategies. Vet optimization platform partners to ensure effective targeting.
  • Develop strategic pricing and packaging: Assist in aligning audience-based pricing models with traditional sales strategies, ensuring competitive positioning and revenue maximization.
  • Support sales prospecting and deal development: Manage audience requests for prospecting, develop sales materials, and support client outreach to drive deal conversions.
  • Enhance sales team effectiveness: Maintain key sales tools, including upfront pricing templates, and planning documentation, ensuring sales teams have the insights needed to close deals.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-8 years of experience in media sales, ad sales planning, or a related revenue-focused role.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Strong sales acumen, with an ability to identify and capitalize on data-driven revenue opportunities.
  • Experience working with audience-based buying, advanced advertising platforms, and measurement-driven sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and sales data tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into compelling sales narratives.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
Compensation Annual Pay Range: $110,898 - $129,751 Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%
