Could you be the full-time hybrid Project Scheduler in Pittsburgh, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your project planning and scheduling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a critical role in driving on-time delivery (OTD) performance by managing and optimizing project schedules, ensuring alignment with internal and customer requirements, and supporting decision-making processes. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Finance Project Managers, and other stakeholders), analyze schedule risks and critical paths, and lead periodic project schedule sessions, among other responsibilities."

We'll look to you for:




  • Analyzing schedule management requirements of the customer and ensuring compliance with contractual tools, schedule structure, and reporting constraints. ,



  • Defining tender preparation schedules and monitoring progress until tender submission. ,



  • Highlighting critical paths and risks linked to project schedules and proposing optimization and mitigation actions. ,



  • Contributing to the project strategy with a focus on contractual requirements and schedule alignment. ,



  • Building and maintaining project schedules based on internal WBS standards, contractual targets, and stakeholder inputs. ,



  • Ensuring consistency of internal and external stakeholder commitments while managing schedule interfaces. ,



  • Providing timely updates on schedule situations, highlighting gaps between actual progress and the baseline. ,



  • Preparing schedule and progress reports for customers, lead units, and partners. ,



  • Promoting time management awareness within project teams and contributing to the return of experience (REX) by sharing best practices and schedule templates."

  • Degree in Engineering discipline or related field (a combination of experience and education may substitute for degree). ,



  • Experience or understanding of project planning or project controls (minimum of 4 years). ,



  • Knowledge of P6 software (proficiency required; knowledge of other planning tools like Planisware is a plus). ,



  • Familiarity with railway products and systems (preferred but not mandatory). ,



  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. ,



  • Agility to manage schedules, simulations, and scenarios in a dynamic environment. ,



  • Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach. ,



  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment.
