We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Strategic Portfolio Manager to play a pivotal role in orchestrating our Talent, Growth & Development (TG&D) portfolio of work. This role will be instrumental in orchestrating the successful execution of strategic talent initiatives and ensuring seamless collaboration across our TG&D Centers of Excellence (COEs). You will bring structure, clarity, and transparency to our work, and establish best-in-class portfolio management practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the complete portfolio of projects and initiatives across all TG&D COEs (Workforce Innovation, Enterprise Learning, and Employee & Executive Talent Practices). This includes understanding the scope, objectives, key initiatives and timelines for each via a close partnership with the response COE Portfolio Manager.

  • Strategic Initiative Program Management: Lead and drive program management efforts for select strategic talent initiatives. This will include developing and aggregating project plans, managing timelines, tracking progress, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and developing senior leader updates.

  • Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and dependencies across the TG&D portfolio. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Reporting & Communication: Develop and implement robust reporting mechanisms to provide clear and concise updates on program status, risks, and progress to key stakeholders, including leadership.

  • Transparency & Visibility: Create and maintain centralized information repositories and communication channels to enhance transparency and visibility into the TG&D portfolio and strategic initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across TG&D, Employee Success (HR), and the business to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.

  • Structure & Consistency: Establish and maintain portfolio and program management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across the TG&D organization.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
