DIR - CLINICAL SVCS/NURSING BH

The Director of Clinical Services (DCC) is responsible for the overall leadership of Residential, Partial and IOP levels of care for both the adult program and the adolescent program. This includes managing the program managers, social service team, mental health techs, recreation therapist, staffing coordinators, interns and all programming. The DCS also sets the clinical vision and overall clinical direction of the facility in partnership with the MD and administrative staff. Additionally, this position plays a key role in La Amistad's multidisciplinary approach to patient care in the form of collaboration with MD, nursing, HIM, marketing, admissions and UR staff. The Medical Director supervises the clinical aspects of the DCC. In addition, the COO supervises the administrative and day-to-day functions of the DCC.

• A Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field with at least five (5) years-experience working with an emotionally disturbed population, which preferable would include children, adolescents and adults.
• Minimum of five (5) years-experience in the mental health field. At least two (2) years-experience in clinical and administrative supervision.
• Must have a current licensure by the State of Florida as a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor.
