Genesis10 is seeking a Cost Analysis Manager. This role is with a manufacturing company based in Lisle, IL. The contract duration is 12+ months. Preferably onsite but open to remote candidates. Responsibilities: Be the center of excellence for all vehicle systems about understanding product/ manufacturing costs Understand the true cost of the component, as designed, assuming best-in-class sourcing and manufacturing Produce high-quality, factual cost data for features by collaborating across cross-functional peers, including Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing Challenge Procurement on their cost structures based on known feature margins, and escalate to management on trends and data that need review Requirements: Self-motivated and energetic individual with the ability to work independently 2+ years of relevant work experience Excellent teamwork and clear communication skills Desired Skills: Ability to understand proprietary systems, including CDMS, validation rules, Pharos, MMI's, to support the development of cost analysis of all feature codes across all models The ability to conceptualize and develop design BOMs and related costs to support Special Equipment cost estimates Preferably with a background in the automotive industry as an engineer, cost engineer or procurement. Data analytics and data mining to identify cost outliers and opportunities Good communication skills and ability to effectively engage with engineering, pricing, and suppliers Ability to understand technical concept Compensation: Up to $46 an hour W2h Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
