Overview

VTG is looking for a Senior Project Manager in the Washington Metropolitan Area.


What will you do?

* Develop and disseminate project-related communications, including cables, reports, and other documentation, to stakeholders and partners.

* Update and maintain the content management system documentation on SharePoint, the office website, Confluence, and shared folders. Post announcements and relevant updates.

* Assist in codifying TED's mission, charter, and core functions.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and, under the guidance and supervision of government personnel, may interact with external stakeholders, such as industry partners, and vendors, as necessary to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

* Codify critical linkages with other organizations.

* Conduct research and analysis to gather and synthesize project-related data from various sources, including internal databases and external repositories, to inform project decision-making.

* Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior team members on project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including content management, data research, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure effective program execution and knowledge transfer.


Do you have what it takes?

TS/SCI with Poly Required

Must have a Bachelors Degree plus 15 years experience or a Masters Degree plus 13 years.

All candidates must meet the following qualifications. Additional position-specific qualifications listed in the table below:

* Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or at least 4 years of work experience in project management and resource management.

* At least 4 years' experience supporting the IC.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Expertise in tracking and monitoring program activities and initiatives.

* Proven ability to plan and organize tasks independently.

* Strong written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

* Demonstrated experience using MS Office applications and similar tools.

* Proving ability to work independently and identify and implement solutions to issues as they arise.

* Outstanding coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

* Ability to build strong relationships with customers and external partners.

All standard qualifications listed above this table plus the following:

* Headquarters and/or overseas Staff Operations Officer experience with a solid understanding of headquarters processes.

* Proficiency using sponsor-unique databases.

* Knowledge of a broad range of office and security related policies and procedures specific to the Sponsor agency.

* Ability to manage a full range of operational support activities for overseas activities.

* Successful experience conducting multiple layers of research and writing summaries, reports, official correspondence, and guidance.

* Experience writing cables and interacting with overseas locations and related protocols.

* Experience coordinating activities with Mission Centers and bases.

* Broad understanding of Sponsor's activities and protocols across its Enterprise.

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
