Supplylogix is a software company that develops and delivers practical supply chain intelligence solutions for pharmacy and related businesses. We are a small, efficient team that builds and maintains software which manages inventory for pharmacies nationwide. Being a small business-unit in a larger corporation gives us the benefit of having a stable backbone, but the ability to react quickly to our clients' requests. We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our dynamic team at Supplylogix. This role is pivotal in advancing our AI capabilities and integrating them into our supply chain solutions. The AI Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AI models that enhance our product offerings and improve customer outcomes. This position reports to the Director of Software Engineering and collaborates with various departments, including product management and account management

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models to solve complex supply chain problems.
  • Collaborate with product management and account management teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement and manage development operations (DevOps) for AI projects, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and build/test automation
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest AI technologies and methodologies to continuously improve our solutions
  • Mentor and guide others to foster technical growth within the team

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#.
  • Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and model development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Additional Skills

  • Expertise in supply chain management and related AI applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for AI projects.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor junior team members

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$129,500 - $215,900
