What You Can Expect

Governance & Process Control

  • Establish and enforce global workplace policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, compliance, and audit-readiness across functions.
  • Build and optimize internal control systems, partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement to drive alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Lead operating model design, risk mitigation, and service governance across the Workplace Solutions group.

Corporate Travel & Card Services

  • Direct global travel strategy, vendor management, and employee experience programs across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of corporate card programs, including policy design, compliance, and systems integration with finance.
  • Continuously improve usability, policy compliance, and cost-effectiveness of travel and T&E systems.

Workplace Systems Leadership

  • Own the Workplace systems ecosystem-including selection, implementation, administration, and integration of tools that support space planning, IWMS/CAFM platforms, project delivery, service requests, asset management, and EHS systems.
  • Design and maintain the systems architecture that integrates Workplace tools with HRIS, Finance, Facilities, and Security platforms.
  • Partner with IT, Procurement, and vendors to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance and end-user experience.
  • Define and enforce data standards, workflows, and automation that enable efficiency and actionable insights.

Performance Reporting & Analytics

  • Define and manage the workplace KPI framework, producing dashboards and scorecards for operational efficiency, cost control, and service performance.
  • Deliver executive-ready reporting for quarterly business reviews, audits, and strategy sessions.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts across workplace services.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Lead contract strategy, SLAs, and relationship governance for all Workplace service providers and technology vendors.
  • Own vendor lifecycle management from selection to performance reviews, renewals, and rationalization.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Serve as the Workplace integration lead during M&A events, ensuring seamless onboarding of systems, vendors, and service models across sites and functions.
  • Identify integration risks, operational redundancies, and alignment opportunities post-acquisition.

Chief of Staff Responsibilities

  • Operate as the strategic right hand to the AVP, Global Workplace Solutions-aligning initiatives, enabling execution, and driving internal communication across the team.
  • Manage planning cadences, staff meetings, and team performance rhythms to ensure organizational focus and accountability.
  • Prepare executive presentations, position papers, and leadership updates on behalf of the AVP.
  • Lead special projects and task forces that cut across verticals and align with enterprise priorities.

What We're Looking For

The Senior Director, Workplace Governance is a critical leadership role responsible for driving operational integrity, digital enablement, and strategic execution across Marvell's global Workplace function. This position oversees corporate travel and card services, governs workplace systems architecture and integrations, enforces process controls, leads vendor performance, and delivers enterprise-level KPIs and reporting.

The Senior Director also serves as Chief of Staff to the AVP of Global Workplace Solutions, acting as an execution partner and strategic operator for initiatives across real estate, workplace operations, capital projects, EHS, sustainability, and business continuity.

This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional reach, ideal for a systems thinker and results-driven leader who can align operations with enterprise strategy and scale solutions globally.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in workplace operations, corporate travel, enterprise systems, finance governance, or program leadership in a global enterprise (tech industry preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor ecosystems, and operationalize strategy.
  • Deep understanding of workplace systems architecture, integration best practices, and enterprise service platforms (e.g., IWMS, CAFM, ServiceNow, SAP Concur, Oracle).
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and compliance in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated success serving in a Chief of Staff or operational leadership role supporting executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with M&A integration, enterprise risk, and performance analytics.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

196,100 - 290,270, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
