*Description*
Will sit on site at a hospital in Englewood, CO handling all ROI (release of information) requests that come through that hospital. not heavy phone work but will be talking to providers as needed release of information requests will come electronically will also work on priors - will be on the phones to make outbound calls to request priors and make calls to follow up on requests HIGH volume - over 100 requests per day Also process records as they work through calls so there's a processing piece of the role as well zero face to face patient experience Completes release of information requests including retrieving patient's medical chart and returning chart, scanning medical record accurately and correctly and transmitting daily, according to requests, established procedures, and established standards of quality and productivity. Date stamps all requests and highlights pertinent data to facilitate processing. Validates requests and authorizations for release of medical information according to established procedures. May receive incoming requests including opening mail, telephone inquiries, and retrieving facsimile inquiries, depending on the needs to the client. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* MUST HAVE: High School Diploma min 6 months experience working with medical records in current or last job - has to be recent and have to know what a medical record looks like, what information is relevant, how records flow to follow a patient from provider to provider, basic understanding of ROI process min 1 year customer service experience - can be retail, barista, servers, call center basic office equipment knowledge - know how to work a scanner, copier, fax machine, basic knowledge of word and excel *Experience Level* Entry Le *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
